Privacy

  • Webzchat do not keep any personal information about any member outside their profile.

  • Webzchat do not maintain any email lists except the newsletter.

  • Webzchat do not now give share or sell nor ever have in the past given shared or sold members email addresses to any other organisation or third party.

  • Your profiles are not shared with any other organisation or third party. They are only viewable to webzchat members. They may be advertised by yourselves, but Webzchat will never advertise any individuals profile outside Webzchat.

Confidentiality

Anything said in a Webzchat chatroom is considered confidential. The Webzchat chat program does generate transcripts. These, we have to keep by law. They will only be shown to anyone upon a court order or in the case of illegal acts concerning minors being talked about. In this case the full transcripts and full access to the members ip address and profile WILL be delivered to the relevant authorities.

The only exception to these rules are debate nights transcripts. These are transcribed, all none relevant information removed then posted onto a webpage. The debate web pages are only accessible  to members who are logged into the site. Should you not wish others to read conversations you have in the open forum then you may choose not to speak during a debate.
